Beaver State representative Drew Locs mixes modern Rap and classic Hip Hop on his latest project titled “Wood Works”. First starting off as an artist, Locs began honing in on his production skills earlier this year and in doing so, has put forth an eight track EP produced solely by himself. Check out the smooth instrumentals on songs like “What’s Mine” and “What’s Hatnen”, where Drew samples Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Happening, Brotha”. With only a single guest slot from fellow friend SamuelThe1st on “SherHOOD”, the artist/ producer does a great job showcasing his song creating abilities. Check it out and if you’re feeling it, purchase a copy from the Bandcamp player located below.
