New Music: William Young (@_WILLIAMYOUNG_) – Harold At The Light (feat. Globe & Yay High)

New York author and lyricist William Young is making major noise with this new single “Harold At The Light” featuring Globe and Yay High. In its first week it’s already gotten airplay on Power 105, Shade 45, and XM Radio.

Born William De Jesus Jr, he burst onto the scene in 2012 with his attention grabbing novel ‘Gorilla Khan’. Featuring a cast of colorful and intriguing characters, William was able to draw readers in and create somewhat of a cult following of die-hard fans awaiting a sequel. Shortly after, he co-authored another entertaining book, “Brooklyn’s Own: The Notorious A-Team!”.

He went on to work with DJ Kay Slay to produce the Gorilla Khan soundtrack under his new pseudonym William Young. He has since transitioned into music and is currently receiving play on all the top New York stations including Hot 97 and Z100. He was also in The Source’s 2015 Freshmen Edition and has been in Straight Stuntin Magazine as well. He was also featured on Kay Slay’s famed “Enter The Cypher” on the track and video alongside Papoose, Chris Rivers, and Termanology.

Albert Bruce Smith IV, also known as the recording artist Eddy Wow, was born in Washington DC, January 16, 1992. His music is mixed with modern R&B, contemporary Rock, and the Atlanta style Rap. Some of Eddy’s biggest influences are Michael Jackson, James Brown, T-pain, Three Days Grace, Kings of Leon, Roscoe Dash, and many more. Eddy Wow is signed to 10o10 Productions LLC and has been featured with some of Virginia’s local up and coming artist such as Sean Mason, Don Green, and T.Y.

Eddy Wow has been creating music since he was a toddler. He grew up playing the drums and singing in the church choir. In college, his fascination with music led him to become a DJ and producing. He was known for having some of the most extravagant college parties and would do anything just to keep people entertained. Sophomore year he had his first big performance opening up for Juicy J at Norfolk State University homecoming. He received such a good response that he then began performing for the school record label, the Entertainment Alliance.

Currently, Eddy Wow has been re branded with his new evolution of music in the mist of releasing his new Single, “HYER,” produced by his longtime friend and business partner, DJ Strapz. In the future, you can expect to hear Eddy’s unique sound continue to grow and begin to collaborate with some of the leading industry artists of today.

Emmy Law 'Lovely'

Emmy Law is a singer/songwriter from Gainesville, GA. After performing with different bands in venues around Atlanta and north Georgia, Emmy found freedom in pursuing her path solo in 2015. She uses a soft, sweet voice and melodic instruments to convey the meaning in her music. She recently released her debut single, “Lovely” — a song that won the John Jarrard Foundation songwriting contest in 2014. She is currently preparing to release her debut album on Valentine’s Day 2016.

LaJune Grant 'What I Am'

Poughkeepsie native LaJune Grant has spent the past ten years pursuing her passion of music. With ambitions of becoming a rapper, singer and songwriter, LaJune learned early on that she would need to relocate to the center of the music industry in order to fully pursue her dreams. She moved to Brooklyn and finished her college degree and honed her skills as a rapper. Her first opportunity to test her talent came from BET’s “106 & Park.” After seven weeks of victorious rap battles, LaJune was the first female to be inducted into BET’s “106 & Park” Freestyle Friday Competition. Since that first big break, LaJune has opened up for R&B sensations Case and Joe at the Lehman Center Concert Hall and Grammy award-winning Crissette Michelle for a hurricane Sandy fundraising event “Give Back and Get Down.” She has also had the opportunity to perform all over New York City at various venues including the world famous Apollo Theater.

LaJune’s musical performances can be seen on VH1’s Emmy award-winning morning show “Big Morning Buzz Live” and the video for her single “Fibrillate” was selected for MTVU’s freshman competition and played on the channel in December of 2013.

LaJune’s vocal talent is also featured in a pilot for a new show that is being created for VH1. Her EP “Body” is an eclectic mix of genres available now on iTunes, Amazon and other outlets online
