Chicago’s own Beadz drops new mixtape “The Power of Social Media” Follow on Twitter @Beadz1st
Hip-Hop Artist Beadz born on Chicago’s Southside made his name from rapping in cypher’s at his high school lunch table to rapping on street corners, eventually to find himself rapping on one of the Biggest Stages in 2003 (WGCI’s Chicago Idol). Beadz since then has been featured in major publications such as Source Magazine, Hip-Hop Weekly “Unsigned Hype”, Ozone and countless more. Beadz live shows & performances has enabled him to share stages with Hip-Hop Greats like DMX, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Common, & Fat Joe and currently earned him the opportunity to tour with the Living Legend Twista.
Beadz music is a reflection of his struggle growing up in a single parent home on the rough streets of Chicago. Beadz started hustling the streets at an early age and he’s been able to apply the hustle mentality to his music career. His music is passionate; and he’s able to convert that passion in to witty bars and catcy hooks. Beadz current single “Go Hard” ft Twista has appeared in mix shows on Power 92.3 & 107.5 WGCI in Chicago as well as Shade45 and Hip Hop Nation XM channels. With original music he created featuring Twista & Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs & Harmony, Beadz has become a household name with the local popular #1800HurtNow radio jingle he created for a Chicago law firm.

On his sophomore album, Queens emcee Eff Yoo lays it all on the table as he welcomes listeners into his life through a clever combination of innate technical skills and brilliantly weaved narratives. On “The Eff Word”, those elements help shape the entirety of the album, a fully realized and engaging listening experience produced by rising Chicago producer, Rediculus. Full of intricate, story telling themes, the LP boasts features from artists such as Big Noyd, The Audible Doctor, Airon Azure, G.S. Advance, Skanks and Spit Gemz.
Whether or not you’re a man or woman of God, we all face moments in our lives where we put our personal faith in question. That goes for whether it’s a particularly trying time or a situation where doing the wrong thing seems right. Either way, anyone can relate to the core feelings of Eff Yoo’s stirring new video, “God Hates Me”, featuring The Audible Doctor and Airon Azure.
The story here is a chilling one that centers on a priest, portrayed by the Queens rapper, battling personal demons that stem from a decision to murder the man who killed someone close to him. Eff even goes so far as to kidnap the murderer (portrayed by The Audible Doctor), all the while riding around and questioning himself with Azure seemingly as his conscience.
The video is directed by both Eff Yoo and New Jersey’s Skrewtape, a multi-talented artist who has previously worked with Mr. Green and Miilkbone. And here, he’s taken the message of “God Hates Me” and turned it into a suspense/horror short-film.
“The Eff Word” LP, which also boasts features from Big Noyd and Spit Gemz, is now available for stream and download through iTunes and all major digital retailers and can be purchased on CD via Platformz Records.
